My mother Betty Kaye Christian was a great believer in Animal Rights. It was she who bred the  love  of Maine Coons into my genes. Even though my mother is gone I know she is watching over us,  my sister Lisa and brother Lewie who also have Maine Coons with great pride on how we Love and  Care for our Maine Coons.

Our Philosophy

Our mission is to participate in the preservation and strengthening of this great Breed the Maine Coon, through the strict observation of the breed standards and rules laid out by the CFA and the MCBFA.

Our Policy
All kittens/cats sold the customer must agree and sign our contract.
 
Also, to help aid us in our breeding program, Purchaser agrees to send photos of the cat to KOONTOPIA at the ages of 6 months and 1 year old. And we would like to have a photo of the cat each year on it's birthday. Purchaser should enclose a brief note describing the health and temperament of the cat.
Reservations
We do not accept advance payments for reservations on unborn kittens, due to the uncertainties of nature, although we can keep you on our waiting list. We will inform you a few weeks after the birth takes place.
Once we have confirmed between us the kitten that you will be buying we will then require confirmation of your interest with a deposit payment in the form of Cash or Postal Money Orders.
We "DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS or CREDIT CARDS."
Deposit on kittens are: males $700.00 to $900.00 and females $600.00 to $800.00.
Also as the breeder we reserve the right to change our minds on a reservation of a kitten even after a deposit has been received and prior to the kitten leaving our home. You will be offered another kitten in its place. There are no refunds on any money received on kittens for any reason.
  Cost
Price varies according to pedigree, pet or show qualities, which can be determined around
 6 to 8 weeks after birth.
Prices on our Kittens
$1200.00 to $1600.00 for males - $1000.00 to $1400.00 for females.
Add an additional $500.00 to that price for shipping.
 
The price range of our show kittens varies. Showing experience has taught us that as breeders we must recognize the fact that it would be wrong to say that all kittens are born with equal personalities or same characteristics. Hence, the "show" and "pet" quality distinction. From young parents whose offspring have not yet attained adulthood, we do not sell as show kittens.
Also, a "pet" kitten may be as beautiful as a show kitten, but all the socializing will not change the kitten's aversion to crowded environments or to being handled by strangers in a stressful environment which could disqualify him/her at a show. Whereas, a "show" kitten must have the required physical characteristics, but will also happily accept being handled by strangers at shows and will have no problems with crowds or cameras.
Therefore we feel it is important to evaluate kitten characters and physical development (as each kitten is different irrespective of the socializing and loving care given to them). This is to ensure that our kittens will be fully appreciated by their future families. Each kitten is first and foremost in our hearts and meticulously receives loving care and attention. People who we entrust our kittens must agree with our conditions.
